Short version: we collect the minimum needed to answer you, we don't sell it, and we don't publish client aircraft. The details are below.
01 — Who is responsible
Kitchen Aircraft Management, LLC ("KAM") is the controller of personal information collected through kitchenaircraft.com and through direct correspondence that follows.
02 — What we collect
Information you give us
- Name, email address, and phone number when you submit the Airworthiness Check or contact form.
- Aircraft details you voluntarily share: make, model, tail number, base, hours, program enrollment.
- Documents you voluntarily upload or email: logbook excerpts, inspection status, insurance declarations.
- Free-text notes describing your situation.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser user-agent, referrer, and pages viewed.
- Approximate location derived from IP (city / region level).
- Timestamps of form submissions and email opens where the mail platform supports it.
We do not collect payment information through this site.
03 — Why we collect it
- To respond to your Airworthiness Check request and schedule the review.
- To evaluate fit before a paid engagement.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
- To meet legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use personal information for advertising or profiling.
04 — Legal bases (for EU / UK visitors)
- Consent — for optional cookies and analytics where required.
- Contract / pre-contract — to answer inquiries and evaluate engagement.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the site and respond to referrals.
- Legal obligation — to retain records where law requires.
05 — Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers operating under written agreements: web hosting, email delivery, form processing, error monitoring, and secure document storage.
- Professional advisors — our CPA and outside counsel — when reviewing your inquiry is necessary.
- Authorities — when required by valid legal process or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with data brokers. We do not disclose client aircraft, tail numbers, or owner identities publicly or to prospects.
06 — Cookies & analytics
The site uses strictly necessary cookies to remember your session state. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to anonymize IP addresses and to record aggregate page views only. A separate Data Collection notice lists the specific tools and cookies in use.
07 — How long we keep it
- Inquiry submissions and correspondence: 24 months from last contact, unless an engagement follows.
- Engagement records: for the term of the engagement and seven (7) years after, or longer where law requires.
- Server logs: 90 days.
08 — Security
Access to personal information is restricted to KAM and its named advisors. Documents are stored in access-controlled cloud storage with encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee against unauthorized access, but we work to minimize that risk and to notify you promptly if we learn of a material breach affecting your information.
09 — Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you,
- correct inaccurate information,
- request deletion,
- object to or restrict certain processing,
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent,
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10 — Children
The site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11 — International transfers
KAM operates from the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. under appropriate safeguards.
12 — Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Prior versions are available on request.
